TEAR TROUGH
ABOUT
Underneath the lower deck and across the cheek is the tear trough area. When we age, inI this area, we lose volume and elasticity, and with age, the skin becomes dim and thin, so we look old and fatigued.
WIth dermal fillers, the patient’s appearance is enhanced and well-reposted, helping to rejuvenate the eyes tired by smoothing out the sunken effect.
The benefits are:
Short treatment time
No scarring or general anaesthetic
Patients can return to work/home immediately as there is no downtime
Natural results
Performed by a qualified doctor
PROCESS
The tear trough zone is usually no more than 15 minutes to treat, and then you can return to work immediately. This is a relatively fast and straightforward treatment. Since Dr Mittal uses an anaesthetic topical for the area, you must be 30 minutes before your appointment to enable the cream to numb the area.
Once the area is numb, Dr Mittal will clean it and mark it for the right spot to treat.
filler is implanted between the hollow part and the cheekbone using a soft cannula to avoid any injuries to the delicate structure, delicate blood vessels and soft tissues.
The dermal fillers improve the skin’s volume and thickness, helping to improve the appearance of the under-eye region itself.
AFTERCARE
There is no downtime; the patient will immediately see the results but maybe reddened, bruised and swelling, which may take several days to dissipate depending on the patient.
Dr Prerna Mittal proposes, as far as possible, to settle in the area, lying on your back some nights. Don’t touch your face, makeup and avoid hard training for up to six hours on treatment day. Do not touch your face.
The patient will have to visit the Clinic for additional treatments to maintain these results.
COST
Dr Prerna Mittal will discuss your options with you during your appointment, as treatments differ depending on the patient and the amount of filler required.
